FIBER RICH EASY CHIA JAM
Hitting protein goals is so easy with this 10 minute, easy chia jam.
It can be customized to whatever berries you have on hand, even multiple types to get a more complex flavor!
FIBER RICH CHIA JAM
1 pound strawberries
1 pint blackberries (or any berry!)
1/4 cup chia seeds
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tosp maple syrup or honey
MAKE IT
Wash berries and roughly chop strawberries.
Add to a pot and simmer on medium/low heat until the fruit starts to break down.
Add in lemon juice and smash with a muddled or the end of a wooden spoon.
When mixing starts to bubble, add in chia seeds and mix really well! The chia seeds like to clump together, so mixing prevents that.
Keep on low heat until it starts to thicken, then add into a glass jar.
Let cool before storing in the fridge!
