TUNA PATTIES
Easy, high in protein, and so much fun to eat! These tuna patties taste like a crab cake but they’re way cheaper and easier to make!
TUNA PATTIES
2 cans tuna
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (I used panko)
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped parsley (about 1/2 a bunch)
2 sprigs of green onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Lemon zest from 1/2 a lemon
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
MAKE IT
In a bowl, add all ingredients and mix well.
Set in the fridge while you get your pan hot.
In a large nonstick skillet, add a little butter or avocado oil spray and heat to medium/high heat.
Scoop out tuna patties using an ice cream scoop and place in pan. Flatten the top a little with the back of the scoop.
Cook on each side for about a minute, or until golden brown on each side.
Enjoy with a spicy aioli or Mayo on top. :)
